Join us for the unique experience of two silent films featuring a live soundtrack on The Z’s Mighty Wurlitzer Organ, thanks to the Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society! The matinee will feature two Buster Keaton classics: One Week (1920) and Go West (1925).
One Week (19 minutes)
Buster Keaton and Sybil Seeley star as newlyweds who receive a portable house as a wedding gift. But when he tries to construct it, things quickly go awry. Vintage physical comedy at its finest!
Go West (69 minutes)
With little luck at keeping a job in the city, a New Yorker (Keaton) tries work in the country and eventually finds his way leading a herd of cattle to the West Coast. He chaperones a thousand wild steers in a big City – and a thousand funny scenes!
