Downtown New Bedford will be the place to be Thursday night, November 9th
Downtown will be humming with holiday-inspired festivities and locally made gifts from over twenty-five local makers. In addition, neighboring galleries and museums will be open late, chock full of beautiful artwork, gifts, and family-focused events. The theme for November’s AHA! is MADE IN NB: Art Mart and Gallery Night, and The Vault Music Hall & Pub will be the starting point for families and friends to get a jump start on their holiday shopping while enjoying live entertainment. Warm up in Custom House Square with a complimentary cup of hot cocoa (while supplies last) and a roaring fire pit (5 – 7 pm), before strolling through adjoining neighborhoods to enjoy what the rest of downtown has to offer. There will be a a special treat in Custom Housed Square featuring a live glass blowing demonstration with local artist Alan Haynes. November’s AHA! is made possible thanks to this month’s sponsor, Destination New Bedford. Everything kicks off at 4 pm and will conclude by 8 pm.Free parking is available at the Elm Street Garage.
