Summer Walking Tours

The New Bedford Preservation Society conducts these engaging walking tours of some of New Bedford’s most picturesque 19th Century neighborhoods. Their friendly tour guides introduce you to many historic homes and buildings. These 2-hour tours are conducted during the months of July and August on Wednesdays and Saturdays, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM by reservation.Starting point of the tours: the historic Wamsutta Club, corner Union & County Streets. Tours are offered for a nominal $5 fee, which benefits the Society’s many programs to preserve the city’s rich architectural heritage. Includes light refreshments.
