Whales Today Live: Performance @ New Bedford Whaling Museum

NEW DATE: Whales Today Live promises to be a truly one-of-a-kind performance celebrating the beauty, behavior, and vulnerability of whales. Contemporary dancers from Tilted Collab will interpret the new exhibition “Whales Today,” improvising movements set to original music commissioned by the Whaling Museum. Simon White, Sean Fennessey, and Thomas O’Leary composed the music in response to the exhibition’s narratives and were influenced by digital recordings of whale sounds spotlighted in “Whales Today.” An exclusive talk with the artists follows the performance. Explore the exhibition galleries throughout the evening and enjoy delectable eats by Morton’s Fork Catering (cash bar) during the pre-performance reception beginning at 6 pm. Performance starts at 7 pm. Special pricing for college students!
