The Upper William Street Neighborhood Festival is joining New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center for a celebration along William Street from Eighth Street to the Waterfront! The neighborhood will be alive with music, history, the arts, and culture. Activities are free and family friendly and include venues of the First Unitarian Church, the First Baptist Church (soon-to-be The Steeple Playhouse), the First Universalist Church (Gallery X), New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center, Steamship Pier, Seamen’s Bethel, and Custom House Square. Free vendor space for artists, craft makers, and nonprofits are available near William and Eighth Streets. AHA! (Art, History, Architecture), Your Theatre Inc., Gallery X, The Collective NB, New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center, the City of New Bedford and many others have combined efforts to help showcase this city’s incredible talent and diversity. New Bedford has recently been ranked one of the top ten most creative cities, come help us show it off!
