Celebrate Juneteenth with the New Bedford Historical Society and the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park with a day of music, folk tales, and arts and crafts to commemorate the anniversary of the end of enslavement for millions of African Americans across the USA in 1865.
Re-enacters will be on hand to tell the stories of New Bedford residents who fought for an end to enslavement.
